Can you french kiss with a cut on your tongue?

My boyfriend got a cut on his tongue today while playing basketball because he got shouldered in the face. The cut is on the side of his tongue and it's bothering him a lot, so much so that he has to talk with a lisp. He does not have any STDs or HIV or AIDS whatsoever. He's perfectly healthy! :) We're seeing each other tomorrow. Can we still kiss?
