Someone please help me on the holocaust liberation?

I have been reading a packet about the holocaust for homework. I got to the last part where the camps are liberated. I'm a little confused. After liberation, what harsh realities and strictly limited options ultimately confronted the survivors of the Holocaust? It said that there were limited options but it never said what they were. What widely differing reactions to freedom did liberators encounter among the survivors in the crucial days that followed liberation? It only said that liberators encounter many things while they were resucing the prisoners but it never said what it was. If someone could help me that would be great!
