Describe how atheism makes you happier?

Atheists are not atheists because it makes them happier, that's a theist trick. Atheists are atheists because they do not believe in the existence of a god or gods. They don't DECIDE to become atheists because they think it makes things better, they become atheists because they realize that they don't believe. How can you even TYPE if you haven't even figured that out yet?? I mean you seem like an otherwise reasonably bright person, and yet you seem to be operating on an entirely false premise nonetheless. It's kind of stunning, really.
